About

Hi, my name is Megan and I am from Columbus, Ohio. In May of 2017, I graduated from The College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in Global International Studies (with a specialization in History) and a minor in German Studies. While at Wooster, I was able to feed my passions of learning about international affairs and traveling, with a semester spent in Freiburg, Germany. This experience lead me to my Senior Independent Study, where I researched the ongoing Syrian Refugee Crisis as it is seen in Germany. Along with my academic interests of human rights and history, I love to run, practice yoga, cook, be outside, and listen to music. With this blog, I hope to engage in discussion and inform people about issues of importance locally and internationally as I spend a year in Peru.
